Dismantling
Dismantling the handpiece to access internal components.
Diode laser for hair removal
During servicing in Poznań, we worked on a diode laser handpiece that had lost its seal. Dirt and dust had begun entering the handpiece and settling around the optical system.

SERVICE REQUESTDuring a service visit to a customer in Poznań, we inspected the handpiece of a professional diode hair removal laser.
The problem concerned the handpiece housing. Damage had compromised its seal, allowing dust and other fine contaminants inside.
In equipment operating with high optical energy, even minor contamination inside the handpiece should not be ignored.
After thorough inspection and dismantling, we confirmed that the handpiece interior needed cleaning.
The service was carried out at the customer's premises in Poznań.
The handpiece was dismantled to access its internal components and assess the extent of contamination thoroughly.
This allowed cleaning of areas inaccessible during normal device use.
Opening the handpiece revealed contamination that had entered through the failed seal.
In a correctly assembled handpiece, the housing helps limit dust and other contaminants reaching sensitive internal components.
After any housing damage or loss of sealing, the condition inside the handpiece should therefore be checked.
Components around the optical path required particular attention.
Contamination on optical components can affect energy transmission and cause additional heating during laser operation.
Before reassembling the handpiece, we therefore thoroughly removed contamination and inspected accessible components.
During servicing, we also accessed the laser diode module area and components inside the handpiece.
When sealing has failed, removing visible dust from the housing is not enough: areas deeper inside the handpiece also need inspection.
The service included dismantling the handpiece, inspecting its interior, removing contamination and correctly securing the housing again.
Dismantling the handpiece to access internal components.
Thorough removal of accumulated dust and contamination inside the handpiece.
Checking the optical area, laser diode module and other accessible handpiece components.
Correct housing reassembly, restoration of the handpiece seal and securing the joint with suitable sealing material.
After the work, accumulated contamination had been removed from the handpiece interior.
After correctly reassembling the housing, we restored the handpiece seal and secured the joint with suitable sealing material.
The handpiece was prepared for continued operation.
This case shows that a problem does not always begin with damage to the laser diode module itself.
Sometimes the initial cause is a small housing leak through which contaminants gradually enter.
