Emergency 808 nm laser service in Gliwice
Recently, Laser Tech Service received an urgent service request from Gliwice, Poland. A diode laser used for hair removal was overheating, and an on-site technician was needed.
During the inspection, our technician found a cracked fitting near the water filter, at the connection between the filter and the cooling hose. Coolant was leaking through the damaged connection.
The technician replaced the water filter and refilled the system with fresh coolant. Following the repair, the laser was working again.

Why do the filter and its connections need inspection?
Why does this matter? Water filters, plastic housings and fittings can deteriorate over time. Cracks may develop, causing coolant leaks. When the coolant level becomes too low, cooling performance can decrease and the laser may overheat.

When should you replace the filter and stop using the laser?
Regularly checking the water filter, cooling hoses and coolant level can help identify problems before they lead to equipment downtime. Filters should be replaced according to the manufacturer's instructions and actual operating conditions.
If your laser is overheating or losing coolant, stop using it until the cause has been identified and corrected.
Laser Tech Service provides diode laser maintenance, diagnostics and repairs for aesthetic equipment, including on-site service throughout Poland.
