Comprehensive diagnostics and repair of a Cavi Shape Advanced in Wrocław. The device had several independent problems: three RF handpieces were not working, infrared light was unavailable and ultrasound was operating incorrectly.

Several faults in one device
Equipment Cavi Shape Advanced required comprehensive diagnostics of several functions at once.
Three RF handpieces were not working, the infrared light function was faulty and ultrasound was operating incorrectly.
The nature of the problems required dismantling the device and checking connections between the handpieces and electronics.

What did we find?
After dismantling, we checked the cables, connections, contacts and main board condition.
- poor electrical contact
- contaminated contacts
- heavy contamination of the main board
- damaged cables
- oxidation of some main board tracks
- unstable contact between handpieces and device electronics
- general contamination resulting from use
MEASUREMENTS
Signal and connection checks
During diagnostics, we took electrical measurements and checked the signals responsible for individual device functions.
The measurements allowed us to check continuity and locate poor contacts.

Main board cleaning and repair
The main board was heavily contaminated with deposits accumulated during use.
The electronics were thoroughly cleaned. We also checked tracks, contacts and connection points.
Connections requiring attention were resoldered to restore correct electrical contact.
RF AND HANDPIECES
Handpiece and connection checks
We checked connections responsible for correct handpiece operation and signals between the handpieces and electronics.

After contact cleaning, connection servicing and main board repair, the device was reassembled.
We restored operation of the three RF handpieces and infrared light.
