A used laser need not be a poor laser
I often hear that used aesthetic equipment means problems. I disagree.
A good diode laser can operate for many years. The same applies to other professional aesthetic equipment.
What matters most is its condition, how it was used and whether it was regularly serviced.
When buying used equipment, I would therefore look beyond manufacturing year, housing appearance and screen figures.
A more important question is: what has happened to this device over the past few years?
The biggest problem when buying used equipment is missing information
Imagine a familiar situation.
You find a used diode laser online at an attractive price. It looks excellent in photographs. The seller says everything works, it saw little use and never broke down.
The problem is that the buyer usually cannot readily verify this.
We do not know whether the handpiece was repaired, the diodes replaced or cooling, power supply or electronics problems occurred.
Nor do we know who carried out previous repairs or whether they were done correctly.
For me, service history is therefore one of the most important factors when buying used professional equipment.
Service history reveals more than appearance
A housing can be cleaned thoroughly, a screen polished and a device prepared beautifully for photographs.
But a photograph does not reveal what happened inside.
With a service history, we can check replaced components, previous faults, repairs and the last service date.
This makes a major difference: the buyer is no longer purchasing entirely in the dark.
Documentation really matters for professional equipment
A diode laser or other aesthetic device is not an ordinary household appliance.
It is professional equipment used with clients, often every day.
It is worth knowing who serviced and repaired it and whether they have appropriate qualifications and records of the work.
Laser Tech Service holds the certificates and qualifications required for the laser equipment servicing work we perform.
For the client, this means the device is more than an item being sold. Its condition is checked by people who can continue servicing it afterwards.
Why was LTS Market created?
Many devices pass through our service team. We diagnose, repair and replace components, sometimes knowing a unit’s condition over several years.
Over time, we noticed a straightforward problem.
Some clients want to sell equipment because they are buying a newer model, modernising their clinic or changing their business.
Others ask where they can buy a used laser with confidence.
That is why we created LTS Market .
We want to combine equipment sales with what ordinary listings often lack: technical knowledge and continuing service support.
We sell equipment whose history we know
Equipment history is particularly important to us for used devices sold through LTS Market.
We aim primarily to offer devices familiar from our service work and previously maintained by us.
This gives us much more information than someone seeing the equipment for the first time just before sale.
We know the work performed, parts replaced, previous problems and present technical condition.
Buyers therefore receive not just the equipment but the fullest available account of its history.
Current equipment listings are available on LTS Market .
Clients are not left alone after purchase
For me, this is one of the greatest advantages.
A device can be sold in a day. The real work begins afterwards.
The laser will operate for months and years. At some point it may need servicing, parts, diagnostics or simply technical advice.
Buying through LTS Market means knowing from the outset where to turn if a problem occurs.
There is no need to start searching for a service provider only after a breakdown.
The client already has contact with a team specialising in laser equipment that can continue supporting it.
New equipment should also come with service support
The same applies to new devices.
When buying a new laser, it is easy to focus on power, specifications, appearance and price.
All matter, but another question is worth asking: what happens after purchase?
Who helps with a fault? Who performs diagnostics? Will spare parts be available? Can the device be serviced in Poland?
That is why, through LTS Market, we also offer new equipment .
Our aim is not simply to sell hardware.
The client should also have access to professional service support afterwards.
Would you like to sell your laser or aesthetic device?
LTS Market also welcomes equipment owners wishing to sell.
If you want to sell a diode laser, tattoo removal device, RF, HIFU, IPL or other professional aesthetic equipment, contact us.
We can help assess its condition, prepare it for sale and present it to prospective buyers through LTS Market.
We are particularly interested in devices we have previously serviced.
In those cases, we can explain the actual history in more detail instead of merely repeating listing information.
Sales are handled for a small commission, so owners need not manage the entire buyer search themselves.

Price matters, but should not be the only criterion
I understand that price is important when buying equipment.
Especially when opening a clinic, introducing a service or expanding a business.
The cheapest laser, however, is not always the least expensive solution.
If the handpiece, cooling or electronics need repair a few weeks later, the initial saving can quickly disappear.
Equipment should therefore be bought with a clear understanding.
Know what you are buying, its history and who serviced it. Above all, know whom to call if a technical problem occurs a year or two later.
Buying equipment? Ask about its history first
If I could give one piece of advice to someone seeking a used laser, it would be not to begin with “how much does it cost?”
First ask what was repaired, who serviced it, whether service records exist and who will support it after purchase.
With specific answers, a used laser can be a very good purchase.
If nobody knows its past, a low price should prompt closer inspection rather than be the sole reason to buy.
When comparing particular listings, use our used laser buying guide: checks, diagnostics and costs. It helps prepare questions for the seller before deciding.
