## Service scope
### Laser source diagnostics
We check the laser module and pulse generation. In appropriate designs, we diagnose the pump lamp and active element; not every Nd:YAG has the same construction.
### Optical system servicing
We inspect and clean optics and check mirrors, lenses and tips. Alignment is performed where supported by the design and service procedure.
### Energy checks and calibration
We measure output pulse energy with an appropriate instrument and check stability. Calibration feasibility and scope follow manufacturer documentation.
### Electronics and cooling
We diagnose power supplies, control boards, the cooling circuit and electrical connections. Repair covers the agreed faulty components.

1. ### Report and identify the device
Provide the model, location and symptoms so we can determine the initial inspection scope.
2. ### Technical inspection
We check the laser module and pulse generation. In appropriate designs, we diagnose the pump lamp and active element; not every Nd:YAG has the same construction.
3. ### Agree the solution
The final cost of work and replacement parts is agreed with the customer after diagnostics. Parts, laser sources, displays and comprehensive calibration are not automatically included in the starting price.
4. ### Post-service checks
Pulse energy measurement and stability checks within the capabilities available for the model.

## Frequently asked questions
### Is every Nd:YAG a lamp-pumped Q-switched laser?
No. Nd:YAG identifies the active medium; source design and pulse generation method depend on the model.
### Do you replace pump lamps?
In models with a pump lamp, we assess its condition and whether a compatible replacement can be fitted. We do not assume every device contains one.
### How is pulse energy checked?
With an instrument appropriate to the laser output under test. A screen reading does not replace an energy measurement.
### Do you align optics?
Only where the design and documentation permit this work. We assess optical condition first.
### Does reduced performance always mean a damaged source?
No. Optical losses, power supply faults or cooling faults are also possible; diagnostics establish the cause.
### What does the price from EUR 220 mean?
This is the starting service price. The source, lamp, other parts and comprehensive calibration are not automatically included; the quotation is agreed with the customer.
