## Service scope
### Laser diode module diagnostics
We check reduced power, module condition and electrical parameters. We establish whether the diode is responsible and whether replacement is necessary.
### Laser diode module and stack replacement
We remove the damaged module, select a compatible diode or stack and check mechanical and electrical connections. Availability of a suitable component is confirmed for the model. We install the new compatible component.
### Restoring laser diode module cooling
We check heat dissipation, the thermal interface where present and the coolant circuit for leaks. Operating temperature is checked after repair. Where needed, we renew the thermal interface provided for by the design.
### Calibration and output power measurement
We measure actual optical power with an appropriate instrument, compare it with settings and perform adjustments supported by the device. A screen value is not an optical power measurement; restored parameters must be confirmed by measurement. We carry out a verification test after replacement.
## When diagnostics are needed
We establish the cause by inspecting the specific device.
### Reduced results or output
Reduced hair removal results, no emission or low optical power require diagnostics.
### Unstable operation
The module operates irregularly or the device reports errors.
### Overheating
Heat dissipation problems may affect diode operation.
### Failure following a leak
After overheating or leakage, the module and the cause of damage need examination.

Not always. Diagnostics of the module, controls and cooling, and optical output measurement are needed.
### Will any diode fit my device?
No. Selection depends on optical, electrical, mechanical and cooling compatibility. Availability is confirmed individually.
### Does EUR 220 include a new module?
No. This is the starting service price. The price list specifies EUR 330 for diode replacement labour; a new module, additional parts and calibration scope are quoted individually.
### Does a screen reading confirm laser power?
No. Actual optical power is checked with an appropriate measuring instrument. A screen setting does not replace measurement.
### Do you calibrate after replacement?
We perform measurements and adjustments within the scope supported by the model. Calibration feasibility and scope are confirmed before work.
### Why do you check cooling?
Overheating or a leak can damage the module. Replacement without addressing the cause increases the risk of another failure.
### Do you guarantee factory output power?
We do not claim restored parameters without measurement. Results are assessed for the specific device after the agreed work.
### How are diagnostics and travel charged?
Diagnostics are free when you order repair or maintenance. Travel is charged separately.
