## Diagnostics and travel
Identifying the fault allows us to determine the work required and prepare a quotation for your device.
### On-site equipment diagnostics
[Diode laser diagnostics: from EUR 165](https://lasertechservice.pl/en/services/diode-laser-diagnostics/). Diagnostics are free when you commission a repair. Engineer travel is charged separately, including when you commission a repair.

## Equipment inspection and maintenance
We adapt servicing to the design and condition of each device. Regular inspections help assess its condition but cannot guarantee that all future faults will be prevented.

### On-site servicing
EUR 330–440 + travel costs
The cost depends on the equipment type and scope of work. Travel is quoted separately, taking distance into account.
### What can an inspection include?
- Checking the device's technical condition.
- Identifying signs of wear and potential faults.
- Cleaning and servicing components appropriate to the device.
- Checking the operation of key systems.
- Checking the device after servicing.
- Recommendations for continued use.

## Important information and pricing questions
We agree the scope and cost before starting work. Below we explain what affects a quotation.
### Why might the final cost differ from the price list?
The price list gives indicative figures. The actual fault, equipment design, parts required and scope of work affect the final quotation, which we agree after diagnostics.
### When are diagnostics carried out?
Diagnostics take place before the repair scope and final quotation are established. On-site diagnostics are approximately EUR 165 plus travel. This does not mean that diagnostics are automatically included in the repair price. For diode lasers, the terms on the diagnostics page apply: from EUR 165 without a repair order, or free when you commission Laser Tech Service to carry out the repair. Travel remains separately chargeable.
### Are replacement parts included?
For diode replacement, EUR 330 covers labour only; the new diode is quoted separately. Parts for CO₂ and picosecond laser repairs are charged in addition. For other items, we confirm the parts scope and cost individually in the quotation.
### Why does some equipment require an individual quotation?
Different models have different designs, components and parts availability. The equipment category alone does not establish the precise repair scope.
### How are travel costs agreed?
The indicative rate is EUR 1 per billable kilometre. We agree the distance and final cost before the visit. The calculator does not determine whether the distance covers a one-way or return journey.
### Can I bring my equipment to your workshop?
Yes, workshop servicing is available. Contact us before bringing the equipment so we can agree how and where to hand it over.
### How do I book servicing or an inspection?
Call us, contact us on WhatsApp or send an email. Include the equipment model, describe the symptoms and attach photographs if possible. We will agree the next steps.
