## What is RSL massage?

RSL massage is a term used in aesthetics for compression and vibration massage using microspheres. The handpiece's working elements transmit pressure and vibration as it moves over the body. These devices are used in body care treatments; operation depends on the device design and its manufacturer's recommendations.

This case describes repair of the device's electrical connection, not treatment effectiveness. We do not assign a brand based on appearance or attribute medical properties to the device.

## What was the fault?

The damaged parts were the **handpiece cable and connector**. These connect the working part to the device. Depending on the design, the connection carries power and control signals. A cable break or faulty contact can disrupt this transmission even when other components remain operational.

The request required cable repair and connector replacement. We do not attribute additional, unconfirmed motor or electronics faults to this case.

## Why is a reliable connection so important?

A faulty contact can cause intermittent handpiece operation, no response to commands or drive disruption. In a device with powered rollers, they may also stop rotating. Where spheres rotate freely, a lack of rotation does not necessarily have an electrical cause.

These are examples of general symptoms, not symptoms confirmed during this visit. Similar behaviour can have different causes, so repair scope should follow diagnosis of the specific device.
